My approach

My Name is Hamid Farahani. I integrate evidence-based principles from various therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) into my practice.
I strongly believe in the power of Systematic Family/Couple Therapy to address issues affecting families and couples.

Providing you with a safe space to relax

All your appointments will take place in a Clinic in Banstead or Epsom, which has fully private rooms, complimentary tea and water, and individualised care.

I have completed my PGDip at London South Bank University and obtained my BA degree in clinical psychology in 2005, followed by a Master's in Philosophy. I have undertaken courses in Transactional Analysis and Mindfulness, as well as specialized courses such as CBT with Older People at the University of East Anglia, Mindfulness for Well-being and Peak Performance at Monash University, Understanding Anxiety, Depression and CBT at the University of Reading, and the Psychological First Aid - RAPID Model by Johns Hopkins University.
